We’re excited that we have successfully campaigned to keep our community, in our community through the landmarking of the Willoughby-Hart Historic District.

The historic Bed-Stuy neighborhood is home to rich culture, iconic architecture, and a tight-knit community. While the violent demolition of the beloved community space, the Jacob Dangler building inspired our movement, the effort has since blossomed.

We are so proud to have landmarked our unique stretch of primarily Black and Brown-owned Brownstones in unique effort to prevent further demolition of our culture and displacement of our community members.
